Why credits, not a subscription?

Strategy authoring and backtesting run on your machine — there's no server-side compute we'd be amortising against a monthly fee. AI calls have a real per-request cost. Credits keep that pass-through honest: you pay once, you spend on what you use, you pay nothing while you're not asking the AI for help.
